	Premise
In 1998, while Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger searched the English countryside for the Horocruxes, Lord Voldemort and his followers were working on the greatest piece of dark magic ever known - The Transformation. A highly guarded secret, the Transformation would be the culmination of a lifetime’s worth of work - the reuniting of the four jewels of the Tuatha Dé Danan. The mythical treasures were separated over a thousand years ago, a safety plan to ensure that in cases of extreme danger, wizarding kind would not die out. As soon as Lord Voldemort delivered his killing blow to Harry Potter, the jewels were reunited. A bright light, similar to the northern lights were seen over Britain, and then silence that was only pierced by cries of joy from the Death Eaters. After a battle at Hogwarts, in which many lives were lost, the Death Eaters rose triumphantly to now take their prize - complete control of the British Isles, which were now completely muggle free. The Dark Lord had succeeded in transporting every single sentient magical creature into a mirror world, an alternate reality created to protect magical creatures from muggle persecution. Five years later, the Isles look grim. Most of London is a ghost town, with only the areas around Downing Street, the headquarters for Voldemort’s reign, and Diagon Alley still thriving. Many witches and wizards fled London for Hogsmeade and Godric’s Hollow. Those who fought for the Order that have been caught have been sent to prison farms as labor, or have been sold as slaves to pureblood families. Those who sided with the Dark Lord have been given great swaths of land, power and prestige. Those that fall in the middle simply have to make due, and hope some how, someone will be able to find a way home.
